Free verse is a popular style of modern poetry, and it has a fair amount of freedom when it comes

to writing a poem. Free verse can rhyme or not, it can have as many lines or stanzas as the poet

wants.

*The reason that I choose to write a poem using the free verse structure is that I can fully express

the thoughts and emotions the speaker is sharing without being trapped to focus on components

like rhyming. I am able to share the words in a freeing way without any limits in a way.*
