REFLECTION

The author enables to influence the readers successfully by telling her autobiography.
The title, Dari Sungai Musi Ke Mississipi & Muncie, has been a good device to attract
reader’s attention. The plot is also noticeable. Perfectly, she tells more detail to every single
condition set in both Kayuara and Palembang for many years ago. No wondered, the readers
are easily picturing the conditions happened during reading it. She also informed the readers
how to have a farm got from her experience and attached the scientific names of plants in the
country. The readers must have discerned in the action of their mind two settings which in
this book are harmonized. The author possesses a singularly wide, clear, and minute power of
accurate observation. Her observation, both of things and persons, is also keen and true to
actualities as it independently is. The most important thing is that the message of the
autobiography is to motivate the readers to move forward in achieving their dreams.
Therefore, the literature is highly recommended to not only urban but also suburban
adolescents.
