You see, Prime Minister Tojo Hideki

the country's resources as efficiently as
possible during times of war. The fact
that there were Japanese women out

organization for Japanese delta
women. Roughly translated, the name
of this group is the Ladies' League.
The training of these ladies is no less
rigorous than that which the men go
through. Only their focus is different.
Whereas the men are trained to kill
their foes on the field of battle, the
women are trained in more subtle arts.
They learn to turn aside their foes not
with fists but with their words, and
they are trained never enter a situation
that they cannot walk away from.
While the men are trained to fight,
the women are educated in the art of

One thing that really separates Glory
Days from Brave New World is the fact
that you and the players know how it's
all going to end. At some point in late
1943, the Yankee and Sparky are going
to be captured by the Germans and
forced into a concentration camp.
There, they will launch a rebellion
against the guards, which comes to a
quick end with the arrival of Kapitan
Krieg, who destroys most of the rebels.
And while their bodies are waiting to
be tossed into an incinerator, Sparky
a young man the heroes may have
come to know well-will transform
into the first alpha : Superior.
This much is set in stone: Sparky
becomes Superior and then goes to
Berlin and kills Adolf Hitler. Soon
after, he confronts Hirohito, and the
war comes to an end. If you care about
how the Brave New World timeline
progresses, all this must happen.
Of course, if you don't care about
maintaining continuity, this frees you
up entirely to let the cards fall where
they may. If Sparky's not the first
alpha, then maybe it'll end up being
someone else-even one of your
team's heroes. Or maybe the Nazis will
come up with the first one instead.
If the heroes see someone like
Sparky or the original Patriot die
before they're supposed to, this can
actually do a lot to put the players on
notice. The Allies may have won in our
world, but in Glory Days, all bets are
off. This can lift that patina of destiny
from your saga and put the heroes
right back where they belong: on the
edge of the precipice, fighting for not
only their lives but all they hold dear.
