Simulation Guidance

1. Please wait for the email from interpretive.com. They will send you the user name and
password.
2. Go to www.interpretive.com. Log in and purchase the simulation.
3. After you purchased the simulation, check the due dates of each round. Download and
review student manual. READ THE MANUAL!!!
4. Read the simulation manual with your teammates (you can find your teammates
information by downloading “simulation teams” on “course material” on Blackboard).
For questions, ask interpretive.com or email instructor (wanrong.hou@utrgv.edu).
5. Make decisions. Decision-making means changing numbers in the “Results & Decisions”
in the simulation, regarding technology, product development, and others.
6. When you finish the decision-making, just log off (no need to save or submit) and wait.
At 8:00 AM of each due date, the simulation will advance and you can check the new
results of simulation 10 minutes after. Then, you can make decisions for next round. You
can always log in and change the numbers in the simulation, as long as it’s before the due
date of that round.
7. All members in one team can log in to the simulation software at the same time and share
the exact same interface. When you make decisions, one member can just change the
numbers. The simulation will update the numbers you changed in real time. So other
members always get the updated numbers.
8. If you have any technical questions regarding the simulation, please stop by the
instructor’s office (BUSA 213B) in office hours or make an appointment.
