information about the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) as a standard used in Canada, helps
determine your approximate CLB range, and provides useful links to services for immigrants. It is designed
to help you make more  informed decisions about your immigration, language learning, and career
pathways.

Please note that CLB­OSA results are informal and unofficial. They cannot be used for the following
purposes:

immigration or citizenship

employment

entry to post­secondary academic programs

placement into most language training programs

Formal CLB­based language assessments are only available in­person at official language assessment
centres in Canada.
