Course Artifact Alignment Rationale
standard is because it examines a course in its entirety to
3-Tiered make sure it is meeting the course objectives. This
standard focuses on shared vision and big picture (1a).
The assessments can also help serve as a framework for
other course evaluations (1d).
I chose the Tell 'Em in 10 power point presentation for
this standard because it focuses on coaching educators
how to use technology to aid in the final product, but not
Tell'em in
the subject that is actually being covered. Building the
entation presentation was just one part, the delivery in Knovio
was the final part. This project could serve as a model for
how a student may be able to use PowerPoint, or in my
case, Articulate Storyline, for future projects (2a).
I chose the Rise course for this standard because it gave
the instructional designer the option to really customize
Articulate Rise their own course from scratch. It could be used in a
Course similar fashion to an LMS (3c) and could help the
educators in delivering an alternative assessment
method over a physical test (3a).
The Knovio recording helps the educator understand a
new delivery method of a presentation. This assignment
had us present the Tell 'Em in 10 presentation and
allowed us to "teach" the course. I chose this artifact for
this standard because I felt that it hit every single
substandard. I chose to create my presentation in
Storyline, which allowed for built in feedback (4a),
personalized assessments (4b), can be delivered in
person or on a digital platform (4c), and allowed me to
incorporate a variety of learning strategies (4d).
I selected the Gamification assignment for this standard.
I believe that if a company were to use a badge system
for a game, it could help the ID teams see where further
Gamification
development/training is needed (5a) and could give the
coaches the opportunity to provide feedback on how to
move up in rank or gain a new badge (5c).

I selected the tiered assessment again for this one
3-Tiered because it directly correlates with 6b. Teams can use
Assessment Plan formative and summative assessments to determine
learning transfer.
I chose the Flipgrid discussions for this one because we
have actively been recording ourselves in response to a
Flipgrid Videos classmate's assignment. I believe that this meet's the
substandard which addresses the need to have a
respectful culture in responding to others online (7b).
