OBJECTIVES -Able to express their thoughts/feelings about the poem at least in 1 simple phrase.
-Able to respond imaginatively to the instruction and produce their sense poem at least in 4
stanzas with guidance using ‘Padlet’, then attach together a picture of their imaginary
playground.

ACTIVITIES PRE-LESSON:
Teacher writes a word on the board. “POEM” and asks pupils what is the word means.
Teacher shows a picture of a playground.
Pupils take sometimes to look at it.
Teacher asks questions about playground.
Pupils give their personal thoughts.
LESSON DEVELOPMENT:
Teacher asks pupils to refer to anthology of poem and turn to page 3, “At the playground”.
Teacher plays a video on the recitation of the poem.
Teacher recites the poem and pupils listen at first.
Teacher asks for pupils thoughts on the poem.
Pupils share their thoughts/questions.
Pupils repeat after teacher on reciting the poem.
In pairs, pupils browse the web for their imaginative playground.
Pupils then create a sense poem on a sheet of paper based on the selected picture.
Teacher assists pupils in producing their sense poem.
POST-LESSON :
Teacher assists pupils to open ‘Padlet’ and asks them to type their sense poem on ‘Paldet’.
Pupils publish their poems and playground picture on it.
Teacher asks pupils to read their friends’ work and express their opinion on the project.
