How to Use:
There are so many fun ways to use this beautiful, vintage bird activity printable.

First, print all pages and then cut and laminate each piece (for longevity). Then you’re
ready for fun!
Consider printing multiple nests, multiple birds, and multiple blank eggs in order to increase
the variety of activities.

Basic Math Skills:

• Challenge your child to count the eggs as he places them into the nest.
• Ask your child to put the “3” in the nest or “20” in the nest for number identification.
• Print multiple nests and have him fill each nest, as he counts.
• You can do the same with extra birds.
• Discuss the colors of the eggs and color of the bird.

Addition + Subtraction + Multiplication + Division

• Have your child roll dice and add them together- that’s how many eggs go into the nest.
• Have your child put the sum of “8” into the nest- so he would choose the 5 and 3. Do
the same with subtraction.
• Ask your child to put 9 eggs into 3 different nests.
• Ask your child to put 3 eggs into 3 nests- how many does he have total?

The opportunities for creative play are

endless!
