1. To secure the approval of the University President through channels before the scheduled trip; 2. To comply all the documents required by CHED before the trip; 3. To make sure that all student-delegates submit all the required documents set by CHED and the University; 4. To make sure to know the medical conditions, medical and food restrictions and allergies of the students; and 5. To conduct orientation to the students about the rules and guidelines for the trip.
Responsibilities during the trip:
1. To ensure proper head count; 2. To instruct students on how to properly and safely handle situations which may arise during the convention; 3. To exercise a degree of supervision over the activity corresponding with the degree of hazards involved; 4. To ensure that no alcoholic beverages, cigarettes or controlled substances are transported or used by the participants during the competition; and 5. To provide basic tips to student-participants.
Responsibilities after the trip:
1. To ensure that a travel report is prepared by the students for submission to the University; and 2. To conduct evaluation of students’ learning on the said trip.
