Figure1. Frequency histogram for reaction time (msec) to Visual and Audio

2.
Mean Median Mode
Audio 233.3 234 235
Visual 232.9 230 223

3. For the histogram of the Reaction time of Audio stimulus, the shape is positively skewed
with bulks in 210-240 msec
For the histogram of the reaction time of visual stimulus, the shape is also positively
skewed bulks in 210-240 msec
4. Faster response is due to the great result of anticipation and fully attention, while the
particularly show response is due to distraction.
5. By comparing the bulk of the score of Audio and Visual reaction time all on the Reaction
scales, both bulks are located in the similar scale. So, the results do not support the
hypothesis that auditory RT is less than visual RT.
1 N= 30
2 The highest score: 280
The lowest score: 199
3 Smallest possible unit of measurement: 1
4 Class interval: 6
5 The score range of each class interval (1): 13.5
- (Highest score – lowest score)/Class interval = (280-199)/6=13.5
6 Round off the result of (5) = 15
