Look inside yourself for the answers - you're the only one who knows
what's best for you. Everybody else is only guessing," a fruitful quote from
Charles de Lint which reminds everyone that inside self is always better than
outside outlook. People will judge us by the image they'd see from our cover.
Thus, they will just guess everything base on their good or bad judgment which is
somehow relevant to us however, each of us must prioritize our inner self for this
is the place where we can find answers.

I chose the picture above because I knew that it reflects my personality.

The shadow is in color gray which symbolizes darkness however, it also implies
that there is a light present. Additionally, the image has the word “believe” and
also shows a cat which has a lion shadow. For me, the artwork depicts that in life,
others will see us as a weak and innocent individual for they judge us according to
what they see in our physical characteristics. Little did they know that when
darkness came, we will transform into a stronger person that can surpass their
expectations towards us. Hence, the figure above greatly made an impact to me
for the reason that I am an independent and shy person. Other people perceive
me as a useless one when I was younger but, I proved them wrong because I
strived to be the best version of myself. In connection, even when others discern
us negatively, patiently wait for the darkness and shadow times for this will be the
time where they can see us as a brave and strong human being. We just need to
believe in ourselves because we are the only one who can reverse the negative
perceptions of other people.

Indeed, our inner self contains answers which can formulate an upside
down events in our lives for we are the one who can control our existence. Thus,
take circumstances and darkness as an opportunity for us to grow because
negative surroundings sometimes results to a positive outcomes once we believe
that we can reciprocate it.
