Most people say the mural is a painting that was made to support the architecture of the
room/building. Therefore, we find many buildings or walls decorated with murals to make it
look more beautiful. The existence of murals on each corner of the city wall basically implies
a certain message.

Yogya youth from various communities took action to make a mural with the theme 'Jogja
Asat!' on the Kewek Bridge in Yogyakarta.

This is for the protest related to the drought that occurred due to the impact of the
construction of hotels and malls that are rife in Yogyakarta.
Mural at Beji Village in Jogjakarta,
Four figures on the walls depict the major religions in Indonesia. Islam, Christianity,
Buddhism, and Hinduism. All gathered into one without a divider. I'm not an artist who can
know the meaning; but from this work it is a sign that the diversity of religions in Indonesia,
especially in Jogja, respects each other.
Another mural that is no less interesting is a small map of Indonesia in red, then on the
outside it is white. This map of Indonesia is right in the middle of a bird-like image. Eagle?
Or does this describe Pancasila? It could be like that.

A message about Indonesia, that was what occurred to me when I looked at this mural. If
everyone stares at the picture, they can have their own story for the message conveyed. For
me, it was immediately apparent to me that this mural immediately thought that Indonesia
was our country that had to be protected with all my heart, mind and body.
