BANANAS
Bananas are the fruit of a plant of the genus Musa (Family Musacheae).
Bananas are cultivated primarily for food, and secondarily for the production of
fibres that are used, for example, in the textile industry. They also cultivated for
ornamental purpose.
The history of bananas is pretty exiting, since they are the result of a
genetic mutation that involved into a staple food of our society. In fact,bananas
are probably the most widespread food crop in the whole world. For example
you will learn that the most widespread-species the “Cavendish”. Banana-was
name after the Duke of Devonshire’s family. Today they are known for their
sweet taste, good nutritional properties, with their high contain in potassium and
fibres (and vitamin such as B6, C, and A), and based of all their ease of use :
just peel and eat. It is important to note that real bananas tree is actually a fruit
that must be cooked before eating. It has a green, red, or brown colour and has
seeds : it is today the staple food of many African population and it is different
form the bananas we are used to eating. The original bananas is cultivar used
as a food (cooked or ground to make bananas flour) and as a source of fibre.
Banana leaves are also used to wrap food or as umbrellas (since they are large
and waterproof)
The yellow bananas we eat today are a cross between the green and the red
bananas trees (species Musa Acuminata or the hybrid Musa x Paradisiaca) and
this cross is sterile
Their have been numerous studies showing the health benefits of
bananas, and it has been proven that this fruit is very convenient, both for its
easy of consumption (especially in a fast pact work environment) and for its
nutritional properties

 1 avocado (ripe)
 500 ml coldmilk
 250 ml cold water
 150 gr sugar
 3.5 drops vanila

How to treat Swollen Eyelids
Swollen eyelids can be caused by allergies, irritation, tear-duck blockages and
infection. Here are ways to reduce the swelling.
1. Use eye drops that contain antihistamines to treat swollen eyelids caused by
allergies.
2. Apply a warm, moist washcloth or cold ice pack to your eyelids for a period of
time, several times each day to reduce the swelling temporalily.
3. Try not to lie down or keep your head in aposition where blood can flow to it
quickly.
4. Avoid rubbing your eyes for it may cause the swelling to worsen.
5. Consult a doctor immediately if you experience pain along with swelling, or if
you notice changes in vision.

Tulip and the orphan


Tulip was a pretty cow with big eyes and long, long eyelashes. She was feeling
very unhappy because her calf had grown up and left her. From now on, she would
only see him in the evenings when she got back to the barn. All day she stood beside
the fence and sighed quietly to her self.
Growing nearby, was a fir tree forest and Tulip could smell the wild boar who lived
there. Some morning she would see that the grass in the pasture had been dug up by
the wild boars the night before. Eeeurgh! It would smell like stinky pigs.
But one day Tulip thought she could hear a baby animal crying. Maybe her calf
had got lost, she frantically thought. She dashed to the forest and pricked up her ears.
There was someone nearby, sobbing loudly. Tulip glanced back to the field and saw
her calf playing with the other calves.
As Tulip started to walk away she had a tiny voice cry, “Help me! I’m alone. I want
my Ma!” Tulip the cow turned back and said, “Come here little one. Don’t be
frightened.” A little brown hairy thing came timidly out from under the drooping
branches of a tree. “Come here. Are you lost? Are you hungry?” asked Tulip. “Y-yes”
stuttered the baby wild boar. “There were hunters in the woods yesterday; I haven’t
seen my mother since!”
Tulip, the gentle cow, lay down next to the orphaned wild boar and nuzzled it until
it felt safe again. Now that she had someone to care for, Tulip was no longer lonely or
sad.
