WRITING TASK 1:
Dear Sir, or Madam.
I am Nguyen from Vietnam, but I now am living in Australia and making
ends meet as a Nany. I write this letter hopping you consider me an appointment
which you are offering. I have more than three years of experience taking care of
children whose ages vary about 5 to 12 years old, and my professional expertise
aligns closely with responsibilities outlined in your job advertisement.
In my role as a Nany, I proved to be an efficient, enthusiastic, and patient
person. My value quickly became apparent to all families I used to work for after I
fostered their children’s development. Not only do they accept their
responsibilities, but they also learn how to solve problems themselves. Therefore, I
believe my extensive expertise will help ensure position which you consider for is
not exception to old customer.
If I have chance to live with you, I would like to share my leisure time to
take part in recreational activities with your family members such as: play sports,
visual arts, visit tourist attractions, … and it would be a great honor if I were taught
how to cook local dishes from you or your family members.
It would be a privilege to discuss acquirements more in detail. I am happy to
come by whenever it is most convenient for you. Thank you for your time, I am
