How to Submit a Lodgement of Security Bond Form

Thank you for generating a Lodgement of Security Bond form using the Bonds
Administration website.
The Lodgement of Security Bond form should be printed and signed by all relevant
parties before submitting to Bonds Administration.

Once signed, the form can be submitted by:

Email: bondsadmin@dmirs.wa.gov.au (preferred)
Or
Post: Bonds Administration, Locked Bag 14, CLOISTERS SQUARE WA 6850
Or
In Person: Level 1, 303 Sevenoaks Street, CANNINGTON WA 6701

Please note:
 The Residential Tenancies Act 1987 requires all bond monies paid by a tenant to
be lodged with Bonds Administration within 14 days of the owner/Agent receiving
the funds, otherwise penalties of up to $2,000 may apply. If it is not possible to
obtain the signatures of all tenant(s) within the prescribed timeframe, a partially
signed lodgement form should be submitted for processing and the fully signed
copy should be sent to Bonds Administration marked as ‘signatures only’ as soon
as practicable to prevent delays at disposal.
 Bond Administration can only accept forms that are clear and provided in the
correct PDF format. If the quality of the form is unacceptable for processing, the
form will be rejected back to you.
 A Record of Payment of Security Bond (Form 1) will be emailed/posted to all
parties to confirm the Bond has been lodged. If you have not received this
confirmation within 21 days of submitting the Lodgement of Security Bond form,
please contact Bonds Administration.
 The Bond Holder Section on page 4 of the Lodgement Form is only to be
completed when lodging Residential Parks (Long-stay) Tenants Bonds into an
authorised financial institution bank account. The account that the bond funds
are held in should be titled “Tenancy Bond Account” (Park Operator) or “REBA
Tenancy Bond Trust Account” (Agent).
 Bonds Administration can direct debit transaction accounts only. Online bank
accounts (i.e. Bonus saver), loan and investment accounts will result in the
payment being dishonoured and your bond not being lodged.
