COOPERATING TEACHER
Ali Stava

She knew she wanted to become a

teacher ever since she was little and
went straight into teaching out of
college. She has been teaching at John
B. Dey for 10 years now and I had her
as my 3rd grade teacher in her FIRST
CLASS EVER!
 FAMILY:

She has a sweet family of her and her husband, and

her little baby Paige (who is 14 months old)!
COLLEGE AND DEGREES:
She attended Longwood University in
Farmville, VA and got her Bachlor's
degree in liberal studies and minored in
english.
 FAVORITE THING ABOUT
TEACHING:
"Everyday is different and I love
watching the students grow throughout
the year."
PHILOSOPHY OF
TEACHING:
The elementary years are extremely important for
social, economic, and academic growth. My goal
as a teacher is to make every child feel capable ,
connected, and cared for.
 LEAST FAVORITE PART OF
TEACHING:
"Time management can be difficult at times, and
making sure everything gets done in a timely
manner."
