Although her assignment sees her teaching Grade 5-6, Ihave been particularly impressed with Kyla’s willingness to push beyond the comfort zone of home room duties. In January and February of this year, Kyl stepped into the more specialised zone of teaching music with her 5/6 class. She taught introductory ukulele skills twice a week to this group. Lessons were organised and presented in a logical sequence. Clear communication, step by step modeling of skis, and postive encouragement was evident ata mes.
