Dear Dr. Harris:

Thank you for asking me to speak at the annual convention of the Wisconsin Hospital
Administrators’ Association in Madison, Wisconsin, next summer.

It is a pleasure for me to accept your invitation to discuss Woods & Water Medical Center’s
admission procedures in light of our adding three new medical areas. The three new areas,
dermatology, pain management, and allergy, have resulted in our adding admissions staff. Our
paperwork has increased significantly.

If at all possible I would like to:

1. Speak Thursday morning so that I might be able to attend the Regional Administrator’s
session.
2. Have several microphones located throughout the auditorium so that the audience may
ask questions.
3. Be supplied with a large screen and an overhead projector.

I will be happy to send a brief synopsis of my talk before the convention if you wish. Again,
thank you for the opportunity to participate as a speaker at the convention.
