Personal Introduction

This digital portfolio accurately shows what kind of person I am-someone who is dedicated,
curious, and apricates the intricacies of new and upcoming technologies. This portfolio displays
the projects and experiences that I have gained in my research for my Senior Capstone. If you
look under the Activities and Honors section, you will see that I have earned a Medal of Honor
from the National Honors Society for my volunteer work in my local community. This award
shows that I am great team player and help my community in any way that I can.
During my time at the Bartow College and Career Academy, I participated in the Mechatronics
career pathway in order to help advance my knowledge in new technologies. When my teacher
had a new project that needed to be worked on such as hospital bed or towel warmer, I would
be the first one he asked as he knew how interested I was in new technology. It is very
important to me that I am punctual and have a great work ethic in both my academic and
professional life.
After I graduate high school, I plan on pursuing a degree in electrical engineering. I have already
completed four semesters of a Mechatronics class, as well as being proficient in 3D printing and
Drone Coding. These skills were acquired by working with my instructor and father who is and
electrical technician. As you view this digital portfolio, note how I put special care into
researching various colleges and opportunities that many others would not have done.
