found south of Canada?
4) Grid drawn on blackboard - what shape is located north? what shape is located
south? what shape is located west? what shape is located east?
5) Compass activity - teacher locate’s north using the compass.
Ask students to locate an object in the classroom that is in each cardinal direction -
north, south, west and east
