Conclusion of Discussion on March 18th 2021

1. Elective Admission is when you and your doctors know that treatment is necessary and
hospital appointment is organized. The operation can be planned and scheduled.
For example: hernia, appendicitis, chemotherapy, haemodialysis, physiotherapy, patients
with DBD (dengue fever), patients with vertigo, cataract, kidney stone, tonsilitis, patients
who are going to plastic surgery, breast cancer patients, blighted ovum patients, patients
with one day surgery (ODS), patients within therapy, referral patients from family
doctor, patients with surgery planned, patients with medical check-up, back pain,
myoma, haemorrhoidectomy, patients with cancer
2. Emergency Admission is a when admission is not planned and the patient’s condition is
very serious.
For example: Patients had injury, asthma, patients related to respiratory problem,
hemodynamic disorder, patients had failure and bleeding, shock and trauma patients,
emergency caesarean patients, cardiac arrest, poisoning, facture, massive bleeding, and
unconsciousness, burned, difficulty breathing, heart attack, stroke patients, disaster
victims, drowning patients, chronic ill patients, patients with RTA (road traffic accident)
3. She admitted to emergency admission because she had many wounds and she was
unconsciousness, the accident is not a planned and the girl is in serous condition right
now, her conditions belongs to life threatening,
4. The cancer patients admitted to elective admission because the patients who did
chemotherapy previously had been planned to the doctor, it is happen when you and your
doctor know the treatment is necessary and there is hospital appointment, the patients has
been observed and get monitoring the chemo is already on schedule.
