Back ground

We are looking for a basic FEA simulation for Aluminum extruded frames with LED panels
mounted at the front side. A flow simulation with 160mph wind is needed. The result needs to
show the displacement and stress and stain applied to the frames and panels under this
setup.Panels can be simplified as a flat surface.

Frame set up
4 X 6 frames assembled together with Panel mounted and attachment points(Screw mounted to
the wall) applied every four feet.

a. Frame overview without Panel (For reference use only, FEA not needed)
b. Frame with Panels (FEA needed)
Panels are assembled to the front side. Panels can be simplified as a flat surface
c. Material information
● Frame material: 6063-T5 Aluminum
● Frame connection: M5 screws and press-fit nut (4 connection points per side)

● Panel material: Plastic injection mold with PCB

● Panel weight: 3.14 kg
Test Required
160 mph wind load test following the international Building Code(IBC) standards.

Results Needed
Need to show the details for the frames, panels can be hided if simplified
Reference examples:
1. Flow simulation report for the 6X4 frame assembly. Strain, Stress, Displacement plots
and report for the 6X4 assembly
2. Detail FEA review at corner
3. Detail Strain and stress report at connection points
