CIRCULAR
The Jammu & Kashmir Funds Organisation has introduced the SMS Alert service for
the G.P.F. subscribers of Union Territory of J&K. For this, there is need for full details of
Employees whose accounts are maintained with this office. However it has been
observed that there has been a poor response from the concerned Drawing and
Disbursing Officers in registering the detail of their employees with Civil Sectt Fund Office
for availing SMS Alert Service.
The Director General, J&K Funds Organisation has stressed upon the need to impress
the Drawing and Disbursing Officers operating upon Civil Sectt Treasury to get the details
of Employees/Subscribers, so that SMS Alert facility could be extended to them. The SMS
Alert Service facilitates the subscribers in knowing their Monthly subscriptions (credit),
debit (Withdrawal) on Real Time basis through SMS thereby bringing greater
transparency in the functioning of the organization & improved service delivery.
Inview of the above, it is advised to all the Drawing & Disbursing Officers operating
upon the Civil Sectt. Fund Office through Civil Sectt. Treasury to furnish the requisite
details as per format devised below within 15 days enabling this office to provide "SMS"
Alert Service to the subscribers.
