Climate Change has Harmful Consequences On the Society

Global warming has caused changes in the evolution of climate and weather in the
Earth's atmosphere. Humans are the most important factor in causing and accelerating the
occurrence of climate change. Climate change has a tremendous impact on the survival of the
billions of people who inhabit the planet. Climate change then becomes a leading issue that can
encompass almost all areas of human life, both in the social, cultural, political, economic and
technological fields at the international and national levels (Mumu Muhajir 2010: 1-2). Climate
change is not on gradual warming, but rather on the emergence of extreme events such as
droughts, rainstorms, floods or landslides with increasing frequency. One of the dangerous
effects that we are now feeling is the effect of greenhouse gases, this increasing concentration
of greenhouse gases which ultimately causes the amount of geothermal to be captured in the
earth's atmosphere more and more, resulting in an increase in temperature at the earth's surface
or global warming. Anticipating the impacts of climate change is not only a priority of the
government but also the awareness of the entire world community.
