Use of the verb to be.

This is the basic verb in any language. With this verb we can describe all the
objects or people around. In this lesson we show you the use of this important
verb.

The verb to be has three forms in present , the use of each form depends on the
personal pronoun that we determine. Let’s check some example

Personal pronoun Form of the verb to be Example

I am I am intelligent

You are You are responsible

He / she / it is She is respectful

We are We are brave

In the negative form we only add the word NOT after the form of the verb to be
