Prayer of Confession Rev. George Haugen

Almighty and Ever Living God, we confess that our hearts are often cold to you. You communicate your
love to us, yet we are too hurried and preoccupied to listen. You call us to be in relationship with you,
and yet we settle for cold religion. You call us to give thanks and be grateful, but we often take your
blessings for granted. You call us to repent and believe the good news, but our joy is chocked out by
the cares of the world. Our priorities are often different from yours. Have mercy Holy God, and forgive
us. Revive us so that we will truly walk with you. (Please continue in silent confession) In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
