1. Who is a global teacher? glocal teacher?

Personally, I believe that there is no distinction as to who is “GLOBAL”

and who is “LOCAL”. It is only a matter of perspective and how one can embrace
change and act as a catalyst of change. If a teacher is boxed in by his own
gained knowledge and experiences, it limits his ability to expand and understand
that even in teaching, we continuously learn.

2. Can a teacher you have interviewed be classified as a glocal teacher? Explain.

Yes, I believed that they are “GLOCAL TEACHER” because they rendered
their services as a teacher while adapting to the locality or the culture of the
people living to where they are teaching right now.

3. Make a short reflection ( 20 words) on the statement " as a global teacher, act
locally but think globally"
For me, as a global teacher, act locally but think globally means that one
must possess great understanding and respect to how local people think, behave
and express their thoughts without losing one’s professional aim of shaping the
future in training globally competitive individuals. A global teacher’s perspective
must go beyond the boundaries of what is conventional and convenient. If I apply
the ideas of building a better world to the things I can actually affect in my own
community, and the results encourage others to join in, then the ripples move
outwards and will eventually affect more of the world.
