al No. 20342-0235 01 PE L_INTERLOCKS RELEASED Releasing the Interlocks Two basic types of interlocks are provided with this unit as described below. + Hardware interlocks triggered by the touch sensor + Software interlocks triggered by the CPU These interlocks can be released for operational checks at the time of installation: or service maintenance = Warning: Do not release these interlocks except during installation or service maintenance. (1) Releasing interlocks triggered by the touch sensor © A06 (V/F DRIVE) PWB Dip si Sl- 12345 oN oFF By setting the DIP switch as shown above, the interlocks triggered by the touch sensors are released. (2) Releasing interlocks triggered by the CPU (setting OFF-main mode) © 01 (CPU) PWR Set DIP SW4-6 to ON. By setting the switch as described above, the program for OFF-main mode is started. The interlock by software is completely released and the unit can he operated to the stroke end manually although the override switch is not pressed. However, in this mode, auto- operation cannot be performed. Point 1: In OFF-main mode, interference with the tabletop or floor iy wut monitored. Be extremely careful to avoid interference with peripheral cectione during operation. Point 2: In OFF-main mode, the potentiometer data of all axes are shown on the display panel. Noté Even in OFF-main mode, the program is not started normally if an error (H50, H92, H98, etc) is detected by self-test when the power supply 1s turned ON. In this case, the unit cannot be operated. However, other exsors are ignored. 3 2 No. 2D342-023E Check and Adjustment of Digital Display Position detection for all operating axes of the C-arm other than the TV head rotation angle is performed using potentiometers and encoders. Ordinarily, the encoder value is displayed and the potentiometer data is used as backup data for the encoder. However, it is necessary to reset (initialize) the encoder value by actuating the Limit switch at the stroke end because a sensor for detecting the mechanical origin ic not provided. Therefore, at the time of installation or if there is an abnormality in the potentiometer/encoder, reset the encoder value and adjust the potentiometer value by following the procedures below. (1) Set OFF-main mode by setting DIP SW4-6 on the AOL (CPU) PUB to ON and turn ON the power supply. (2) Reset the encoder value by actuating the limit switch at the stroke end listed in the table below for each operating axis. The C-arm should be set to the head end of the patient (support column rotation angle 0°). In OFF-main mode, adjust the offset of the potentiometer value using the VR on the A03 (A/D COUNT) PWB so that the potentiometer value matches the encoder value at the stroke end listed in the table below by observing the potentiometer value displayed on the display panel. Do not change the setting of the VR for adjusting gain.
