Cause for battle:

Banu Nadir, who settled at Khyber, were angered at being expelled from the medina. They united with
Quraish and formed an alliance to launch an heavy attack on the Muslims.(secretly)

But prophet(s.m) recived the information of the war through Khuzah.

Trench:

Prophet (s.m) called meeting and discussed with others and Salman farsi gave the idea of trench and all
agreed. Everyone dig the trench, day night in state of hunger and in an extreme cold atmosphere .After
the full trench they fought the battle from the trench by shooting arrows away from the eyes of enemies
,which left them in desperation. After many days of straight war, A strong destructive storm occurred by
strong winds and rains which destroys and washed all the enemies away.

Result:

It was a clear victory for Muslims, who had defeated the enemies with such a strategy.

Importance:

Many nearby tribes got impressed by the power of muslims and accepted islam.
islam got speeded.
