“ HOLY WATER”

is water that has been sanctified by a priest for the purpose of baptism, the blessing of persons,
places, and objects, or as a means of repelling evil.

“ HOLY ROSARY ’’
The word Rosary means "Crown of Roses". The Holy Rosary is considered a perfect prayer
because within it lies the awesome story of our salvation. With the Rosary in fact we meditate
the mysteries of joy, of sorrow and the glory of Jesus and Mary. It's a simple prayer, humble so
much like Mary. It's a prayer we can all say together with Her, the Mother of God.

“ CRUCIFIXES ”
A crucifix (from Latin cruci fixus meaning "(one) fixed to a cross") is an image of Jesus on the
cross, as distinct from a bare cross. The representation of Jesus himself on the cross is referred
to in English as the corpus (Latin for "body").[1][2]
The crucifix is a principal symbol for many groups of Christians, and one of the most common
forms of the Crucifixion in the arts. It is especially important in the Latin Rite of the Roman
Catholic Church, but is also used in the Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, Assyrian, and Eastern
Catholic Churches, as well as by the Lutheran and Anglican Churches.

“ HOLY OIL ”
One of several holy oils in Christianity, used in the administration of certain sacraments and
ecclesiastical functions: Chrism.

“ SCAPULAR ”

There are two types of scapular, the monastic and devotional scapular, although both forms
may simply be referred to as "scapular". As an object of popular piety, it serves to remind the
wearers of their commitment to live a Christian life.
“ HOLY CANDLES ”
The Paschal candle is the first candle to be lit with a flame from this sacred fire, representing
the light of Christ coming into the world. This represents the risen Christ, as a symbol of light
(life) dispelling darkness (death).

“ HOLY INCENSE ”

The practice is rooted in the earlier traditions of Judaism in the time of the Second Jewish
Temple. The smoke of burning incense is interpreted by both the Western Catholic and Eastern
Christian churches as a symbol of the prayer of the faithful rising to heaven. ... Incense is often
used as part of a purification ritual.
