How can we fight for gender equality in a more inclusive and intersectional manner?

Gender inequality is a global problem that talks about how bias the world is for men in all
aspect, economically, politically, and socially. This problem lives more than a 100 years ago till
now it still gives the world an unequal and bias environment. Recently, The World Economic
Forum predicted that the global gender gap will not be closed for yet another 100 years (up from
83 years a year ago), and specifically that the economic gender gap will not be addressed for
another 217 years. Furthermore, the biggest gap that WEF gives are found in the economics and
in the political empowerment. We can see that the problem in gender equality is impossible to
solve so that there are groups or social movement that aims to work towards achieving the
problem in our gender equality and that group is called feminism. Feminism is the reason why
we can achieve the equality we want and because of them we can fight the gender equality by
supporting their programs and, we can solve this problem if we are respecting each other’s
gender. Also, we need to stop the stereotyping woman because Ridgeway (2011) says that
gender disparity is not solely perpetuated by unequal access to and ownership of material capital.
Racial roles and expectations perpetuate gendered identities and constrain women and men's
behavior in ways that contribute to discrimination. All, not just feminists, should be concerned
about the battle for gender equality.
