TOPIC SENTENCE

 Topic Sentence is a complete sentence for statement.


 Must be not too general, not to specific.
 Consists of : a topic and co trolling idea.

Controlling idea:

Controlling Idea is part of a paragraph that contains our opinion on something


that is the theme of a writing.

Topic:

Topic is the main core of the entire content of the writing to be delivered or
better known as the topic of conversation

Noun Clauses:

Noun clause is a dependent clause which functions as a noun.

Dependent clause is a clause that cannot stand alone as a complete sentence


because dependent clause does not convey a complete thought even though it
has a subject and a verb.

(Often, the opening word (i.e., "how," "that," or the "wh"-word) is the
subject of the noun clause.)

Adverb Clauses:

An adverb clause is a group of words that function as an adverb in a sentence. In


general, adverb clauses add information that elaborates on when, where, why, how,
how much or under what condition the action in the sentence takes place.

An adverb clause also begins with a subordinating conjunction, such as "after,"


"if," "because" and "although." If you see a group of words in a sentence that acts
like an adverb but does not have both a subject and a verb, it's an adverb phrase.

Adj. Clauses:

Adjective clause or relative clause is a dependent clause which acts as an adjective


which explains the noun (noun) or pronoun (pronoun) in the main clause of a
complex sentence (a sentence consisting of an independent clause and one or more
dependent clauses).

 that
 indefinite relative pronoun dengan suffix -ever: whoever, whomever,
dan whichever
Selain dengan relative pronoun, adjective clause dapat pula dibentuk dengan relative
adverb. Kata keterangan ini ada tiga, yaitu:
 where
 when
 why
