Using Conjunctions in Sentences

Coordinating Conjunctions:
There are Seven Coordinating Conj.
AND, BUT, YET, SO, NOR, OR, FOR
Rule of using Coordinating Conj.
Parallelism:
i. Similar words
ii. Similar Phrases
iii. Similar Clauses
Example:
1. After eating my lunch, I feel happy, drowsy and full.(similar words)
2. His duties are to teach the students, to check the assignments and to arrange the
timetable. (similar phrases)
3. Ali is a teacher but his wife is a doctor. (similar Clauses)

Correlative Conjunctions
They are always used in pairs.
1. Either- or Either this man is dead or my watch has stopped.
2. Neither-or
3. Not only-but also He is not only passionate but also intelligent
4. Whether-or
5. Rather-than
6. Not-but

Example:

Articles in Grammar

2. Definite Articles: (The) Restricts the meaning of a noun
to make noun specific
Examples: The drunk man, The car
Both articles use in one sentence:
We saw a boy in the class. The boy was wearing jean shirt.
