    The Health Science Program will provide students with


    the opportunity to participate in a general, introductory
    program in health services occupations that prepares
    individuals for either entry into specialized training
    programs or for a variety of concentrations in the allied
    health area. The program includes instruction in the
    basic sciences, research and clinical procedures and
    aspects of the subject matter related to various health
    occupations.
    3-Year Program
    Year 1 10th - 12th Grades

    Health Science II
    AND

    Biology A & B

    Year 2 11th - 12th Grades

    Healthcare Explorations
    Medical Terminology
    AND

    Anatomy & Physiology 1 and 2

    Year 3 12th Grade

    Pharmacy Tech
    OR

    Sports Medicine

    NOTE: A "C" or better grade is required in all program


    courses to continue participation in the program.
