िकया जाता है और यिद उसका चयन अनारिbत ƒरि0यc के िलए वरीयता के आधार पर िकया जाता
है तो शारीƒरक िन:शXतता यXु त tयि0 अिधकार अिधिनयम, 2016 के "ावधानc के अन„ ु प उसे
शारीƒरक िन:शXतता वाले tयि0यc के िलए उपल~ध आय-ु छूट "दान कV जाएगी और उसे सफल
अ€यथk घोिषत िकया जाएगा। उसकV उ\मीदवारी को, अिधिनयम, 2016 के अनuु छे द 34(1) के

से एक म^ एक वषkय अिभमख ु ी पाठ्य*म को परू ा करना होगा।
ii. एक-वषkय अिभमख ु ी पाठ्य*म को सफलतापवू क

तथा अ“मख ु ी एवं कायd िन–पादन आधाƒरत "ो•नित नीित के माQयम से उ•नित के आकषdक अवसर
उपल~ध हx। अतएव, सराहनीय व •मशील अिधकाƒरयc के िलए कै ƒरयर िवकास कV बहœत अuछी
संभावनाएं उपल~ध हx।

9. बंध-पd:
चयिनत अ€यिथdयc को एक करार करना होगा व सफलतापवू क d "िशbण परू ा करने के उपरातं
एनपीसीआईएल म^ कम से कम तीन वष• कV अविध तक सेवा करने के आशय का •. 4,30,000/-
(•पए चार लाख तीस हजार माU) का एक tयि0गत bितपिू तd बॉ•ड "(ततु करना होगा।
10. चयन 1िeया:
चयन "ि*या म^ िन\निलिखत शािमल हcगे :
i) कायdकारी "िशbु के पद हेतु tयि0गत साbा&कार के िलए अ€यिथdयc का चयन 1: 8 का अनपु ात
लगाते हœए व गेट, 2017 / गेट 2018 अक
ं ो के आधार पर वरीयता सचू ी बनाकर िकया जाएगा।

ii) के वल वैध गेट 2017 / गेट 2018 अक ं "ाiतकताd अ€यथkगण ही पाU हcगे। अंक कV वैधता के वल
उस दशा म^ ही मा•य होगी जबिक अ€यथk गेट 2017/ गेट 2018 कV परीbा म^ सबं िं धत िवषय के
िलए िनधाdƒरत अहdता अक ं के बराबर या उससे अिधक अक ं "ाiत करता है। कृ पया नोट कर^ िक इस
िवMापन के अतं गdत एनपीसीआईएल म^ कV जा रही भतk के िलए के वल गेट 2017 / गेट 2018 के
अक ं ही मा•य हx। वषd 2016 या उससे पहले के वष• कV गेट परीbा के अक ं मा•य नह{ हx।
iii) गेट 2017 अथवा गेट 2018 के अक ं ो को समान भार िदया जाएगा।
iv) ‘’िनधाdƒरत िन:शXतता वाले tयि0यc (पीड~•यबू ीडी) का चयन सभी आरिbत वग•
(एससी/एसटी/ओबीसी) म^ सबसे कम अक ं c के आधार पर tयि0गत साbा&कार के िलए चयिन
आवेदक के अनसु ार िकया जाएगा। इस "कार, कटआफ अक ं ो के समान या उससे कम गेट (कोर
वाले tयि0 को उनके आरिbत वगd(अनारिbत/एससी/एसटी/ओबीसी) से िनरपेb चयिनत िकया
जा सकता है। इस रीित से चयिनत ’िनधाdƒरत िन:शXतता वाले अ€यथk (पीड~•यबू ीडी) 1:8 के
अनपु ात से चयिनत अ€यिथdयc के अलावा हcगे।
v) िवषय-bेU वार व •ेणी वार कट-आफ सचू ी एनपीसीआईएल के वेब पोटdल पर "दिशdत कV जाएगी।
साbा&कार के िलए चयिनत अ€यिथdयc का पƒरणाम अ€यिथdयc को उपल~ध कराए गए tयि0गत
लॉगइन पर www.npcilcareers.co.in. के ‘एiलीके शन (टेटस िलक ं ’ के अतं गdत भी उपल~ध
होगा।
vi) चयिनत अ€यिथdयc को ई-मेल/एसएमएस के माQयम से भी साbा&कार के बारे म^ सिू चत िकया जाएगा।
साbा&कार के िलए बल ु ावा-पU वेबसाइट पर उपल~ध हcगे, जहां से इसे डाउनलोड िकया जा सकता
है।
vii) उपयdXु त िववरण के अनसु ार चयन साbा&कार के िलए ही होगा। अिं तम चयन के वल और के वल
tयि0गत साbा&कार म^ िकए गए "दशdन पर आधाƒरत होगा। अिं तम चयन म^ गेट (कोर को कोई वेटेज

के आधार पर वरीयता दी जाएगी। जहां पर साbा&कार अक ं तथा गेट 2017 अथवा गेट 2018 के
अक ं समाना हc वहां ज•मितिथ के आधार पर वƒर–ठ को वरीयता दी जाएगी। अतएव, साbा&कार
म^ कट आफ अक ं ो के बराबर अक ं पाने वाले अ€यिथdयc का चयन नह{ भी हो सकता है Xयcिक
समान अक ं पाने वाला अ•य अ€यथk गेट 2017 अथवा गेट 2018 के अक ं ो के आधार पर अथवा
ज•मितिथ के अनसु ार वƒर–ठता के आधार पर चयिनत िकया जा सकता है।
x) चयिनत अ€यिथdयc का पƒरणाम www.npcilcareers.co.in. पोटdल पर अ€यिथdयc को उपल~ध
कराए गए tयि0गत लॉगइन पर उपल~ध होगा।

xi) साbा&कार के िलए उपि(थत होने वाले बाहरी bेU के अ€यिथdयc को उनके Tारा भरे गए आवदेन "पU
म^ दजd पUाचार के पते से िनकटतम रे लवे (टेशन तक के सबसे छोटे मागd के आने जाने का रे लवे
(लीपर Xलास के िकराए कV "ितपिू तd कV जाएगी व इसके साथ यिद कोई आरbण "भार या सपु रफा(ट

अ•य (व„प का "योग िकए जाने कV ि(थित म^ यह "ितपिू तd, मलू िटकट "(ततु िकए जाने पर, िTतीय

िनकालने के िलए एआईसीटीई Tारा उपल~ध कराए गए मानक सUू का "योग िकया
जाएगा।

ई.2 अ•य िपछड़ा वगd के अ€यिथdयc को ऑनलाइन आवेदन करते समय यथा "यो•य ‘*Vमी
लेयर’ या ‘गैर *Vमी लेयर’ कV अपनी ि(थित दशाdनी होगी। ‘*Vमी लेयर’ के अ€यिथdयc
को अ•य िपछड़ा वगd के ‘गैर *Vमी लेयर’ के अ€यिथdयc को "द&त छूट व ƒरयायत^ देय
नह{ हx। अ•य िपछड़ा वगd के ‘गैर *Vमी लेयर’ के अ€यिथdयc को भारत सरकार Tारा
िविहत "ा„प म^ सbम "ािधकारी Tारा िदनांक 01.04.2017 के बाद क; तारीख म^
जारी जाित "माणपU "(ततु करना होगा। साथ ही, अ•य िपछड़ा वगd के अ€यिथdयc को
यिद साbा&कार हेतु बलु ाया जाता है तो उ•ह^ साbा&कार हेतु ƒरपोटd करने के समय एक
घोषणा करनी होगी िक वे अ•य िपछड़ा वगd के ‘गैर *Vमी लेयर’ से संबंिधत हx।
ई.3. यिद अन.ु जा./जन जा./अ•य िपछड़ा वगd/ शारीƒरक िनशXतता "माणपU अ“ं ेजी/िहदं ी के
अलावा िकसी अ•य भाषा म^ जारी िकया गया है, तो अ€यिथdयc को अ“ं ेजी अथवा िहदं ी
म^ उसका (व"मािणत अनवु ाद "(ततु करना होगा।

ii) hयि`गत सा2ाkकार क; भाषा :

साbा&कार म^ भाग लेने वाले अ€यिथdयc को िहदं ी अथवा अ“ं ेजी म^ से िकसी भी एक भाषा म^
उ&तर देने कV अनमु ित होगी।

iii) िचिकkसीय DवDथता :

कायdकारी "िशbु के „प म^ चयिनत अ€यथk का चयन, एनपीसीआईएल के "ािधकृ त िचिक&सक
Tारा उ•ह^ िचिक&सीय „प से (व( य घोिषत िकए जाने पर िनभdर है।

iv) िनयुि` 1Dताव :

अिं तम „प से चयिनत अ€यथk को िनगम कV लागू नीित के अनसु ार आवेिदत पद के "िशbणवृिं त
हेतु "(ताव िदया जाएगा। इस "िशbण को सफलतापवू क d पणू d करने के उपरांत चयिनत अ€यथk
को वैMािनक अिधकारी/सी के पद पर िनयXु त िकया जाएगा। उ•ह^ एक वषd कV अविध के िलए
पƒरवीbा म^ कायd करना होगा और पƒरवीbा अविध को सफलतापवू क d पणू d करने के उपरातं उनकV
िनयिु 0 कV पिु ¡ कV जाएगी।

11. आवेदन कै से करY:

ए. गेट 2017 / गेट 2018 के "वेशपU म^ गेट "ािधकाƒरायc Tारा अिं कत कV गई पजं ीकरण संOया को
एनपीसीआईएल म^ आवेदन हेतु "योग िकया जाना है। अ€यथkगण कृ पया इस संOया को सही „प म^
िलखा जाना सिु नि¢त कर ल^ और "ासंिगक िवषय-bेU के िलए एनपीसीआईएल ऑनलाइन आवेदन
"पU म^ आवेदन कर^ । गेट पंजीकरण संOया म^ काट-छांट के अनरु ोध को (वीकार नह{ िकया जाएगा।

 बी. पाU अ€यथk एनपीसीआईएल के ऑन-लाइन पंजीकरण "णाली के माQयम से आवेदन कर सकते
हx। िकसी अ•य "ा„प, िजसम^ ह(तिलिखत/टाइप िकए हœए आवेदन शािमल हx, के माQयम से "(ततु
िकए गए आवेदनc को (वीकार नह{ िकया जाएगा। कृपया िकसी भी दDतावेज/आवेदन 1पd
आिद को सा2ाkकार से पहले एनपीसीआईएल को 1ेिषत न करY।
सी. ऑन-लाइन आवेदन करने के िलए िनद„श :
i. अ€यिथdयc से अनरु ोध है िक आवेदन करने से पहले अपने अहdता मानदZडc को पढ़ ल^ और
सिु नि¢त कर ल^ िक आप सभी मानदZड परू ा करते हc।
ii. अ€यिथdयc से अनरु ोध है िक सिु नि¢त कर ल^ िक उनके पास वैध गेट 2017 / गेट 2018 अकं -
पU है और इस अक ं -पU के अक ं उनके Tारा भरे जाने वाले ऐिuछक िवषय-bेU के िलए लागू

iii. अ€यिथdयc को वेब-साइट पर उपल~ध कराए गए ऑन-लाइन आवेदन "पU के माQयम से ही
आवेदन करना होगा।
iv. ऑन-लाइन आवेदन "पU हमारी वेब-साइट पर िदनांक 04 अ1ैल, 2018 (1000 बजे) से
िदनांक 18 अ1ैल, 2018 (1630 बजे) तक उपल…ध रहेगा ।
v. ऑन-लाइन आवेदन "ि*या को पणू d करने तथा आवेदन सOं या "ाiत करने के िलए िविभ•न
िववरण, जैसे गेट 2017 / गेट 2018 के "वेशपU म^ अिं कत गेट 2017 / गेट 2018 पंजीकरण
संOया , पाUता िड“ी िववरण, अनभु व िववरण (यिद कोई हो), अक ं ो का "ितशत, ई-मेल का
पता ( जैसा िक गेट 2017 / गेट 2018 के आवेदन म^ िदया गया हो), मोबाइल नबं र ( जैसा िक
गेट 2017 / गेट 2018 के आवेदन म^ िदया गया हो), पUाचार हेतु पता, (कै न िकए फोटो“ॉफ कV
सॉ¤ट "ित व ह(ताbर (जेपीईजी) आिद कV आव‘कता होगी। अत:, आवेदकc को सलाह दी
जाती है िक कृ पया इन सचू नाओ ं को ऑन-लाइन आवेदन भरने से पहले तैयार रख^।
vi. ऑन-लाइन आवेदन करने से पहले अ€यथk को अपनी साफ व देखी जा सकने योnय फोटो
को जेपीईजी फाम„ट मY अिधकतम 50 के बी व यूनतम 125 x 165 िप सल मY (4.4 x
5.8 सेमी आकार) मY तथा अपने हDता2र को भी जेपीईजी फाम„ट मY अिधकतम 20

चािहए। अपलोड कV गई इस फोटो को ‘’साbा&कार बल ु ावा पU’’ पर छापा जाएगा और के वल
िजन अ€यिथdयc के फोटो इस ‘’साbा&कार बल ु ावा पU’’ पर छपे हcगे, उ•ह^ ही साbा&कार म^
भाग लेने कV अनमु ित दी जाएगी, यिद बल
ु ाया जाता है।
vii. अ€यथkगण कृ पया अपना वैध एवं कायdशील ई-मेल पता दजd कर^ Xयcिक सभी मह&वपणू d पUाचार
इसी ई-मेल पते से िकए जाएगं ।े अ€यिथdयc के मोबाइल यिद कायdशील हcगे तो उ•ह^ एसएमएस
भी भेजे जाएगं े। यिद अ€यथk Tारा पंजीकृ त मोबाईल संOया टीआरएआई एनसीपीआर सचू ी
(िजसे पहले डीएनडी कहा जाता था) म^ दजd हcगे तो अ€यिथdयc को पजं ीकरण से संबिं धत
एसएमएस अलटd नह{ िमल पाएगं ।े यिद अ€यथk को ईटी - 2018 के संबंध म^ आगे
एनपीसीआईएल से एसएमएस अलटd चािहए हc तो कृ पया सिवdस "दाता से अपने मोबाइल नंबर
को एनसीपीआर सचू ी से हटाने के िलए अनरु ोध कर^ ।
viii. ऑन-लाइन पंजीकरण 1िeया मY िनvनिलिखत चरण ह†:

2017/गेट 2018 पजं ीकरण सOं या, गेट 2017/गेट 2018 अक ं -पU, परू ा नाम, िवषय-
bेU, ज•म-ितिथ, वगd, ई-मेल का पता, मोबाइल नंबर, शारीƒरक िनशXतता िववरण व
अ•य छूट संबंधी िववरण, यिद लागू हc तो, भरना होगा। इस चरण को सफलतापवू dक
परू ा करने के उपरातं , एक एिXटवेशन कV बन जाएगी/ आबिं टत हो जाएगी और अ€यथk
कV पंजीकृ त ई-मेल आईडी पर भेज दी जाएगी। पंजीकरण के िलए ऊपर/बाई ं ओर -
ऑनलाइन पजं ीकरण के िलए आवेदन पर िXलक कर^ ।
चरण-2 अ€यथk को पहले चरण म^ पंजीकरण करने के उपरांत इस "ाiत एिXटवेशन-कV को अपने
लॉग-इन म^ िलखकर, पासवडd डालकर अपना एकाउंट चालू करना होगा।
चरण-3 इस एिXटवेशन को सफलतापवू क d पणू d करने के प‘चात, अ€यथk ऑन-लाइन आवेदन
के िलए अपने लॉग-इन आईडी व पासवडd का "योग कर लॉगइन कर सकते हx। इस चरण
म^ अ€यथk को अपने सभी िववरण जैसे शैिbक योŽयताएं, कायd अनभु व आिद भरने हcगे।
यह एक बहœ-चरण "ि*या है िजसम^ आवेदक को पहले चरण कV सचू नाएं भरने के बाद
ही अगले चरण म^ जाने कV अनमु ित होती है।
इस चरण का *म िन\नानसु ार है:
1- शैिbक योŽयताएं
2- शैिbक योŽयता प‘च कायd अनभु व, यिद कोई हो।

4- फोटो व ह(ताbर अपलोड करना

उपयdXु त चरणc के िलए िलंक अVलाई ऑन-लाइन मीनू (अVलाई – अVलाई ऑनलाइन) पर
उपल~ध हx। आवेदक को ‘एजूकेशनल वालीिफके श स’ वाले िलंक पर िXलक कर इसे श„ ु
करना चािहए। यह जानकारी सेव हो जाने के बाद अगला चरण जैसे शैि2क योnयता प}च काय/
अनुभव सचू नाएं भरने हेतु उपल~ध हो जाएगा।
इस चरण से संबंिधत सभी सचू नाएं भरने के बाद, आवेदक, इस "पU के सबसे नीचे कV ओर िदए
गए ‘’सेव ऐmड 1ोसीड टु ने Dट Dटे प’’ िवक•प का उपयोग कर सकते हx। इससे वतdमान म^ भरी
जा चक ु V सचू नाएं सेव हो जाएगं ी और अगले चरण म^ सचू नाएं भरने हेतु िवक•प खल ु जाएगा।
अगले चरण को भरने के िलए भी अVलाई ऑन-लाइन मीनू (अVलाई – अVलाई ऑनलाइन)
का "योग िकया जा सकता है।
इस सचू ना को िकसी भी चरण म^ आवेदन को, ‘’सेव ऐmड 1ोसीड टु ने Dट Dटे प’’ का उपयोग
करते हœए सेव िकया जा सकता है।
जब आवेदक ‘’ सबिमट एiलीके शन’’ के चरण म^ पहœचं जाता है, आवेदक Tारा भरी गई सभी
जानकारी एक ˆा‰ट के „प म^ िदखाई देती है। यहां पर आवेदक को पहले के चरणc म^ भरी गई
जानकारी म^ संशोधन कV अनुमित होती है।
यिद आवेदक को िव‘वास है िक उसके Tारा भरी गई सभी जानकारी सही है तो, वह इस

जी) यिद आवेदक को मानदZड परू ा न करने अथवा आव‘यक द(तावेज उपल~ध न करा पाने के कारण
साbा&कार म^ भाग लेने कV अनमु ित नह{ िमलती है या वे याUा िटकट नह{ "(ततु कर पाते हx तो उ•ह^
याUा tयय "ितपिू तd नह{ कV जाएगी।
एच) के वल •यनू तम अहdता परू ी करने माU से ही कोई अ€यथk साbा&कार/िनयिु 0 के िलए बुलाए जाने
का हकदार नह{ होगा।
आई) ऑनलाइन आवेदन "पU म^ दजd मोबाइल नंबर व ई-मेल आईडी कम से कम एक वषd तक सि*य
रखी जानी चािहए। एक बार दजd िकए जाने के बाद ई-मेल आईडी को बदलने कV अनमु ित नह{ होगी।

6. Training & Placement :

The score is valid only if the candidate obtains more than or equal to the

exercise in NPCIL under this advertisement. GATE score of 2016 or of previous
GATE examination shall not be entertained.

v. Discipline and category wise cut off shall be displayed on recruitment web portal
of NPCIL. Result of shortlisting for interview shall be made available to
candidates under ‘Application Status’ link through individual login on
www.npcilcareers.co.in.
vi. Intimation on interview timing/venue shall be communicated to shortlisted
candidates through Email/SMS. Call letter for appearing for interview will be
made available for shortlisted candidates in the website for downloading.
vii. Candidates will be shortlisted for interview as detailed above. Final selection will
be done solely on the basis of performance in the Personal Interview. No
weightage will be given to GATE Score during the final selection. The qualifying
marks for interview are as follows :

Unreserved – 70 %
SC/ST/OBC/PwBD – 60 %

viii. Final merit list will be prepared based on marks secured in the interview and will
be limited to number of vacancies notified.
ix. In case of candidates with equal interview marks, credit will be given for the GATE
2017/GATE 2018 Score. Wherever both interview marks as well as GATE Scores
are equal, credit will be given to seniority in date of birth. Therefore, candidates
scoring marks equal to cut off marks for interview, may not get selected owing to
other candidates scoring same interview marks getting empanelled due to higher

x. Result of the interview shall be made available to the candidates through
individual login on recruitment website of NPCIL www.npcilcareers.co.in.
xi. Outstation applicants attending interview will be paid to and fro Second Class
Sleeper train fare by shortest route from the Railway Station nearest to the
correspondence address indicated in the online application plus the reservation
charges, Superfast Express charges etc or actual fare, whichever is less on
production of original tickets/boarding passes. For any other mode of travel, the
reimbursement will be restricted to the extent of Second Class Sleeper rail fare
by shortest route or actual fare, whichever is less on production of original
tickets/boarding passes. The amount towards reimbursement of TA will be
remitted to the bank account of the candidates electronically. No cash payment
shall be made. Accordingly, candidates called for interview will be required to
submit their bank account details in the prescribed format as provided.

i) Verification of Original Documents at the time of interview :

The following original documents will be verified at the time of interview. Non
production of original documents will debar the candidate from appearing for the
interview and no travelling charges will be reimbursed to such candidates.

e. Caste Certificates:

e.1 SC/ST/OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates must produce caste

certificates, as per the format prescribed by the Government of India.

e.2 The OBC applicants have to indicate their status as “Creamy Layer” or
“Non Creamy Layer” as the case may be while filling online application.
The applicants who belong to “Creamy Layer” are not entitled for
relaxations & concessions admissible to OBC Category (Non Creamy
Layer). The OBC (Non Creamy Layer) applicants are required to submit
requisite certificate in prescribed format of Government of India, from
a competent authority issued after 01.04.2017. Further, OBC
applicants, if called for interview will have to give an undertaking
indicating that they belong to OBC (Non Creamy Layer) Category at the
time of reporting for interview.

e.3 If the SC/ST/OBC/PwBD certificate has been issued in a language

other than English/Hindi, then the candidates will be required to
submit a self certified translated copy of the same in either English or
Hindi.

iii) Medical Fitness :

The appointment of the selected candidate as Executive Trainee will be subject to

she/he being found Medically Fit by the Authorised Medical Officer of NPCIL.

iv) Offer of Appointment:

Candidates finally selected for the post applied for will be offered traineeship as
per the Policy of the Corporation in vogue. On successful completion of training,
the selected candidates will be appointed as Scientific Officer/C. They will be on
probation for a period of one year and shall be confirmed in the post on successful
completion of the probationary period.

11. How to apply :

a. Registration number provided on the Admit Card for GATE 2017/GATE 2018, as
the case may be, issued by GATE Authorities has to be used for applying to
NPCIL. Candidates need to ensure that they fill up the GATE Registration Number
correctly and apply for the relevant discipline in NPCIL Online Application Form.
Requests for correction in GATE Registration number or Discipline will not be
entertained.
b. Eligible applicants may apply through online registration system of NPCIL.
Applications submitted in any other form including handwritten/ typewritten
applications in hard format delivered in person or by other means will not be
entertained. DO NOT SEND any of the documents/ application form etc to NPCIL
before interview.
c. Instructions for applying online :

i. Candidates are requested to read the eligibility criteria and ensure that
they meet all the criteria before applying.
ii. Candidate must ensure that she/he has valid GATE 2017/GATE 2018
Score with qualifying marks applicable in the discipline against which
she/he wish to apply.
iii. A Candidate has to apply through online application form provided on the
website only.
iv. The online application form will be available on the website from April 04,
2018 (1000 Hrs) to April 18, 2018 (1630 Hrs).
v. It is mandatory to input all the relevant information such as GATE
2017/GATE 2018 Registration Number as mentioned on GATE Admit Card
of the candidate, qualifying degree details, experience details (if any),
percentage of marks, email address (as mentioned while applying for GATE
2017/GATE 2018), mobile number (as mentioned while applying for GATE
2017/GATE 2018), address for correspondence, soft copy of scanned
photograph and signature (JPEG) to complete the online application
process and get the Application number. Therefore, applicants are advised
to keep such information ready before applying online.
vi. Before applying online candidate should scan his/her photograph in
JPEG format, of size not more than 50KB and a minimum of 125 x
165 pixels (4.4 x 5.8 in cm) in dimensions and signature in JPEG
format of size not more than 20KB and a minimum of 125 x 80 pixels
(4.4 x 2.9 cm) in dimensions. The photograph uploaded will be printed

printed on the call letter will be allowed to appear for interview, if called
for.

vii. Candidate is requested to enter her/his valid and active email address, as
all important communications will be sent to this email address. SMS will
also be sent to the candidate if an active mobile number for communication
is provided. If the mobile number registered by the candidate is in the
TRAI NCPR list (formerly called DND), candidate will not receive SMS alerts
related to the registration. If candidate wants to receive future SMS alerts
from NPCIL related to recruitment of ET-2018, she/he is requested to
remove her/his mobile number from the NCPR list through service
provider.
viii. The Online registration process consists of following steps :

Step 1. The applicant is required to furnish information such as GATE

2017/GATE 2018 Registration Number as mentioned on GATE Admit
Card of the candidate, Discipline, Name, Date of Birth, Category,
Email, Mobile number, PwBD details and other exemption details, if
applicable. On successful completion of this stage, activation link is
sent to applicant’s email. Click on Apply=>Online Registration link at
top/left corner of web page for registration.

Step 2. The applicant is required to activate the account by clicking on the

activation link received through email after completing registration in
Step 1.

Step 3. On successful completion of this activation, candidate can login using

their login id and password to apply online. In this step the applicant
is required to fill in all details of his Educational Qualifications, Work
Experience etc.

This is a multi stage step where applicant is allowed to go to next stage

only on entering the information required for current stage. The
sequence of stages is as follows :

1. Educational Qualification
2. Post Qualification Work Experience, if any.
3. Personal Details
4. Upload Photo & Signature
5. Submit Application

The links for the above stages are available on Apply Online menu
(Apply=>Apply Online). The applicant should start by clicking on the
"Educational Qualifications" link. Once information is saved, the
next stage i.e. Post Qualification Work Experience will be made
available for filling up the information.

On entering of all the information related to current stage, the

applicant can use "Save and Proceed to Next Step" option at the
bottom of form which will save the information entered in current stage
and opens the next stage for filling. The next stage can also be opened
using link provided in Apply Online menu (Apply=>Apply Online).

 The information at any stage can be saved using the "Save and
Proceed to Next Step" option.

Once the applicant reaches "Submit Application" stage, a draft of all

the information entered by the applicant will be shown. At this point
the applicant is allowed to modify any details entered in earlier stages.

If applicant is sure that all the information entered is correct, he/she

can submit the application using "Submit Application" option. Please
note that the Applicant will not be allowed to make any changes
in the information furnished once he/she submits the
Application. After submission of application, an Application number
will be generated.
Step 4. Only male candidates belonging to General/OBC categories are
required to make a non-refundable payment of ` 500/- towards
application fee with the applicable bank charges using State Bank
Collect link provided on the website after final submission of the online
application. The State Bank Collect facility can also be operated
through the www.onlinesbi.co.in website by selecting State Bank
Collect option => Click Check Box & Proceed => Select state as
Maharashtra => type of Corporate/Institution as Others =>Others
Name as NPCIL =>Submit =>Select Payment Category as Recruitment
of Executives Trainees 2018.

SC, ST, PwBD, DODPKIA and Women candidates are exempted from
the payment of Application Fee.
The applicant should use only this link for payment of fee. Applicant
should mention Application No. generated in previous step along with
all the other details correctly while paying the fee using State Bank
Collect. Please note that it may take up to three working days to
update the details of Application Fee. Once the details of payment of
application fee are received from Bank, the applicant can view these
details using the "Application Fee Payment Details" link.

Only after verification of payment of fee, the online application

form can be viewed/printed. The printed application is required to be
brought at the time of attending interview. The information with
respect to Application Number, GATE 2017/GATE 2018 Registration
Number, name of the applicant, date of birth, mobile number and
email id entered while making the online payment through ‘State Bank
Collect’ should be same as entered in online application for verification
of the payment. The applicable bank charges towards payment of
Application Fee through ‘State Bank Collect’ of SBI will have to be
borne by the candidate. The application fee can be paid through ‘State
Bank Collect’ on any day between 04 April, 2018 and 18 April, 2018
only. The printed receipt of ‘State Bank Collect’ is required to be

d. The Online Application Process is complete only after all the above

percentage of marks column and no rounding off of marks should be done e.g.
59.99% should NOT be rounded off to 60%.

• One clear printout of the full online application form.
• One set containing self-attested copies of the certificates in support of

13. General Conditions :

a) Only Indian Nationals aged 18 years and above, are eligible to apply.
