Position: Associate or Senior Associate

Job Description
Argosy Healthcare Partners (“AHP”) is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its investment team and
support the development of a leading healthcare focused lower middle market private equity firm. The Associate will
join AHP’s Managing Partner, Paul Barrett, and Argosy Capital’s 45 employees in building out and executing the
fund’s investment strategy.

The Associate / Senior Associate will provide support in all aspects of the investment process. This role is an
entrepreneurial opportunity with the chance to be a key contributor on a small team at a growing private equity firm.
The candidate will work directly with the founder and other senior investment professionals on a daily basis and have
hands-on interaction with portfolio companies and management. This is a career track opportunity.

Responsibilities
• Analysis of investment opportunities across target healthcare target sectors
• Assistance with due diligence and all aspects of the investment underwriting process
• Market outreach to founders, executives, and other constituents to develop relationships in target sectors
• Execute financial models and perform ad hoc financial forecasting, analyses and modeling
• Prepare internal and external presentations, investment briefs and formal investment committee memos
• Assist with bid letters and term sheets
• Conduct business and industry analyses
• Prepare quarterly investor and company update materials
• Assist with portfolio company management, including the participation in strategic planning and budget
processes of portfolio companies and maintain certain performance tracking metrics

Qualifications
• 4 to 8 years of relevant work experience in private equity or investment banking
• Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to work in a supportive, but independent environment
• Passion for healthcare and developing relationships
• Technology-oriented and interested in leveraging technology and systems to drive performance
• Excellent analytical, presentation and organizational skills
• Experience with company and financial modeling
• Honest, friendly, curious, positive, team attitude

• Execute Fund I fundraise of $120MM in 2022 with the family office anchoring with $20MM commitment
