A simple two transistor VHF bug that has a powerful transmission range. The first PNP transistor is the microphone amplifier and the second acts as the oscillator. The coil is made from #20 gauge magnet wire, turns on a 3/16" form to create. Matched with a variable capacitor the frequency can be tuned between 108 - 160 MHz. Once tuned, the antenna output can be peaked using the variable capacitor on the antenna for the best output. Created by John S. Wilson Jr.
