1.Basix limited is a micro finance company established in the year 1996 providing employment in 17
states which includes 223 districts and over 39251 villages

Basix was providing employment to over 10000 people of which 80% are from small town. The most
important role in rural market was it provided employment to people living in rural area and it also
aim to promote number of large sustainable livelihood by providing financial and technical
assistance in an integrated manner which will lead to growth and development in rural sector

2.yes I feel it is right by Basix to provide livelihood to rural India as basix had generate lots of
employment in rural India as it is also a quality of entrepreneur to generate employment. As rural
market is a virgin market in this case we saw Basixs risk taking ability to penetrate rural market by
acquiring more than 3.5 million all over India which is commendable. We also saw basix leadership
ability which helped it to become a huge Microfinance company in india
