INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION:
1. The Characteristics of International Organization:
 Made/created between states, referring to the Vienna convention law of treaty
international org means an intergovernmental org so it should be composed of
government of many states. States should become the member with representatives
being represent every member states in each organization. However, there is a
development in international relation. Evidently not every international organization
possess states as its member. Ex: the membership of European union in the WTO.
 Established by a treaty, an international agreement shall be governed by international
law. Any acts governed by national law shall be excluded in this term of international
treaty. International treaty means the law-making treaty, not the treaty contract.
International organization shall have an international treaty as its constituent treaty
Ex: The UN has the UN charter as its constituent treaty. The same for ASEAN.
 Distinct will, the constituent instruments of international organizations are also
treaties of a particular type; their object is to create new subjects of law endowed with
a certain autonomy, to which the parties entrust the task of realizing common goals.

2. Legal Power Possessed in Every International Organization:


 An international organization should have legal power, because as a subject of
international law it bears right, obligations, and responsibility for every actions they
do. In every characteristic international legal personality is a significant element of
international organization in international relation perspective.

 Legal powers
