Students are able to write about the types of news in a. printed media or in a social media.

Teaching and Learning Activities:

Before Class: After reading the text and finding out the important points are explained in the
text on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/News_media. The groups of students share the presentation
slides in a WA Group/or Sikola.

1. Opening (10 minutes)

2. Students read their friends’ presentation slides. Then, using SIKOLA forum or WAG, they
comment and ask questions their friends, and answer questions about their presentation. Lecturer
monitors the discussion process, and gives direction or information as necessary. (75
minutes).

3. Closing (15 minutes)

4. Assignment: The effect of social media as in a media culture, and find out and describe the
important points are explained the text https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Media_culture and compare
