Multi tracked, used the les paul. Light delay on the chorus, multi tracked at
numerous points.
Phase effect is very light

Runnin with the Devil ->

Delay or Reverb added in on main riff on intro. Sounds like mic cuts off??
Solo has multi tracked stuff going on; left and right panning on hard panned guitar
lol

Light in the Sky ->

sounds like a tape recorder being played back -> with a phase effect added on top
of it

Brian Kehew engineering for van halen 1

1977 april -> demo laid for van halen 1

August 29 1977 -> recording starts; most done in studio 2
October 4 -> Eruption and Little Dreamer in studio 1
"silver dome speakers,bright and fizzy"
2 mics -> one bright one is dark -> SM56. One put right in the front, one pulled
back. Second mic has a phasing sound as well

Doug Messenger said they recorded Montrose "Rock Candy" with the same amp used on
VH1.
George Lynch may have used the same amp
Fred Taccone reviewed Eddies amp -> sorted the amp was more or less "stock"; but
was using 6CA7 tubes instead of EL34

Sound board used was a "Bushnell"? not a "demeteo" (no clue what this means)
