¿What is Hypothermia?
- Hypothermia is a medical emergency that occurs when your body loses heat faster than
it can produce heat, causing a dangerously low body temperatura. Hypothermia is a very
low body temperatura of 35,4° C or lower.

¿How do you know if somebidy has hypothermia?

-You can know if you look at the patient with slow and shallow breathing, weak pulse,
drowsiness or very little energy, shirvering, among others.

¿What do you have to do if you are with somebody who has hypothermia?
- You should call emergency inmediately and while you wait for the emergency services
you can take off the patient clothes if they are wet, then give the patient extra clothing
and/or a hat, the cover the patient with a blanket, then prepare a warm drink for the
patient (not hot), then you should close all Windows and doors, turn up the room
temperatura and finish wash the patient’s hands and face in warm (not hot) wáter.

¿What is the difference between hypothermia or hyperthermia?

-The difference between these two illnesses is that hyporthermima is a very low body
temperatura of 35,4°C or lower and Hyperthermia is a very high temperatura.

¿Which one is more dangerous: hypothermia or hyperthermia?

- I think both are two states extreme, but equally concerning, states of temperature loss
or gain.

Explain how to fulfill one of the steps for treating hypothermia.

- I will explain: “closet all Windows and doors”. I think it is better if you close all Windows
and door so that the air can not enter and harm the sick person more.

Do you know what first AID’S mean?

- I believe it is emergency care or treatment given to a sick or injured person before they
can get regular medical help.
