Can Agricultural Farming be Considered as Agribusiness?

Farming for the market is an Agribusiness. Farming is a part of agriculture.
Farming is growing crops or keeping animals by people for food and raw
materials.  From the definition of Agribusiness, we know the group of
industries dealing with agricultural produce and services required in farming.
By Farming we produces agricultural products, Raw materials and do
businesses to earn profit from the farm. So, yes, we can consider Farming as
Agri-business as it deals with the agricultural produces and services required.

Farming is used for agribusiness so; farming is directly related to

agribusiness. Agribusiness is a term used to describe the sector that
encompasses all economic activities that are related to farming, i.e., chemicals,
breeding, crop production/farming, farm machinery, distribution, marketing,
and sales. Farming has for long been perceived as a tradition or a way of life in
some societies. On the one hand, such a perception still has an inherent
business aspect to it because there is a practice of exchange of goods and
services in the form of bartering where no actual monetary value or a profit is
attached to the goods, but a transaction to serve the immediate needs or
sustain the livelihood of a farmer. This is a business practice based on the
principles of investment and return. Agriculture continues to change
especially in terms of markets and technologies, thus, influencing farm
business operations to respond accordingly. This is where business mindsets
and principles are applied to make the best use of the factors of production:
land, labor, capital and entrepreneurship. A farmer is an entrepreneur
(businessperson) with abilities and efforts to manage and control land, labor
and capital such that they all complement his/her business vision. The land is
the primary farm resource on which production takes place; it includes plants,
water and soil, amongst others. The labor is the workforce or farmworkers,
and the capital represents farm assets such as buildings, machinery, tractors,
etc., including money. At Present we can consider Farming as a Business. It is
important to emphasize that farming is a business. it helps to cut away the
alleged differences from other businesses. Farming for the market is a
business. It is a business in that farmers use land, labor, and capital for the
produce of goods to be sold. Such farming is done in the hope and expectation
of profit as are all other businesses.

use land, labor, and capital for the produce of goods to be sold. Such farming is
done in the hope and expectation of profit as are all other businesses. The
whole process of earning is through Agribusiness. Because now the purpose of
farming is business and earning profit that’s why we can consider farming as
agribusiness.
