CHANGES IN THE WORLD

It’s fact that nowadays a lot of changes happen in the world in different spheres
of our life.
So, speaking about commercial changes I can say that not long ago most of
firms, factories and universities were owned by the State. Today most of them are
in private property. Moreover, The United States and China have a trade war with
import tariffs.
As for political changes in the 21 st century The United States became the only
superpower in the world after the collapse of The Soviet Union. However, today
China has the potential to become a global leader.
As for environment changes in recent years the number of ecological problems
has increased greatly. Among of them there is pollution of air, water and soil,
climate changes like global warming, shortage of resources because of
overpopulation, deforestation and crisis of waste disposal. But today people are
trying to shift to renewable sources of energy like solar, wind, biogas and
geothermal energy.
In social sphere we can notice an increase of the rate of the pension and the rate
of the maternity capital. Moreover, in Russia the retirement age was increased to
65 for men and to 60 for women.
There are some physics discoveries that changed the world. Among of them is
The law of gravitation by Isaac Newton discovered in the 17th century (there is an
attractive force between objects); The Theory of Relativity by Albert Einstein
created in the 20th century (the speed of light is constant everywhere) and the
quantum teleportation discovered in the 21 st century (the process of moving
physical objects from one place to another without having them physically move).
Speaking about technological changes I can say that today computers and mobile
phones substitute many things such as books, cameras, televisions, museums and
even teachers. People use them for work, for studying, for entertainment, for
leisure and for other purposes.
In conclusion I can say that as changes may have both positive and negative
consequences, the government should strengthen the control for them.
