According to me she should grant permission to start working part-time.
There are multiple
reasons that can affect Melissa’s life, but also the company. If she has to take care of both things a full-time job and two children it could also affect her performance in her working environment because of all the stress. If she wants her to perform the best, she can she should give her the part-time job because as we read Melissa is a star performer of the company and they can’t afford to lose her. It will even come with another good thing for the company because it can be added as a non-financial incentive to the employees.
