The principal of a local college has asked you to write a report on the advantages

and disadvantages of working abroad in the summer holidays. She would like to
know if the college should recommend 'working holidays'  to its students.

Nowadays, Working abroad has a significant part of life, although it has advantages and
disadvantages. Especially as a student, it is an experience that should be tried.
One of the main advantages of working foreign country is that people have better economic
conditions. Quality of life is high due to incomes are higher than expenses. For instance,
While It may be purchased a product with 3 month salaries in Turkey, same product might be
purchased with a month salary in the USA. Also, learning different languages is another
advantages of working abroad. Personally, as a evidence of that, I have been in the USA as
exchange student with a “Work and Travel Student Exchange Program” and I improved my
English with this program. Moreover, countries have different kind of cultures. One of the
best way of learning culture is living in a abroad. For example, in the USA , it is forbidden to
smoke in most of public areas.

On the other hand, most of the time, it may be difficult to adopt new country. Unless people
have no friend, they might feel homesick and they miss their families, friends and countries.
Also, assuming that the language isn’t spoken enough, person who live in abroad, may face
communication problems which make him/her more uncomfortable.

To sum up with, while there are some disadvantages such as homesickness and adopting
difficulties, there are various advantages.
Where do you like to study? At home, in a library, or at a coffee shop. Explain your

Most of people have a comfort-zone for studying. In my opinion, library might be the better
option for studying. First of all, library has various sources which is needed for all kind of
project, homework or studying at any field. What is more, It is a silent place which nobody
disturb while studying. Furthermore, people go to the library almost for the same purposes
which this provides motivation for studying. To summarize, personally, library is the best
place for me.

Today, it is easier to access most of information than it is used to be, thanks to the
developing technology. As far as I’m concerned, it is better to research on the internet. There
are several reasons that why I prefer to do research on the internet. Firstly, any information
can be found in a short time. On the another hand, more than one source can be found on
the subject under investigation which also it takes to much time while researching in
academic books. Finally, Even academic books are needed for any reason, almost all
academic books are found on online, so it is the best way research on the internet.
