Cold/flu symptoms:

Headaches or Mild aches and pains associated with cold or flu:

Diarrhea:
 Kaopectate
 Imodium
 Follow this diet: push only clear liquids for the first 12 hours (sprite, 7up, ginger ale, jell-
o); then continue the clear liquids adding plain rice, plain pasta, banana, apple sauce
and peeled potatoes for the next 12 hours. After that you may advance your diet as
tolerated. Avoid spicy and greasy food, no milk, fruits, or vegetables until diarrhea has
stopped.
Constipation:
 Metamucil
 Colace
 Milk of Magnesium
 Fleets Enema
 Diet: Papayas with seeds, raisins, apples, carrots (high fiber foods in general): increase
water intake.
Hemorrhoids:
 Preparation H
 Anusol
 Tucks
 Witch Hazel
Nausea:
 Vitamin B6-50mg there times daily with or without Unisom ½ tab 1-2 times daily as
needed
 Emetrol-follow instructions on package
Leg Cramps:
 Tonic Water
Insomnia:
 Benadryl
 Tylenol PM.
