- Teachers also need to know about the strategies to create effective, meaningful, and
informative lessons that will enable students to acquire that knowledge to help
increase and form the students their learning experience. When teachers have
strong content knowledge, they are better able to assist in the learning ability and
information processing to their students.

21st Century Skills

- 21st century skills refer to content knowledge, literacies and proficiencies that
prepare individuals to meet the challenges and opportunities of today’s world.
Without it, we will not be able to successfully participate in the global economy. We
won’t be adequately prepared for college and work.
