THE BALLAD OF NOT-SO-FREE INFORMATION

This is what it sounds like

When you're being forced to share something
When you have nothing to share.

So you share your mediocre thoughts

Just like the numerous college papers people upload
To download stuff.

To avoid that and to stop polluting

the internet, you pretend that this is a poem
with awkward syntax instead.

And you quote the brilliant lyrics from a Disney movie

"Let it go, let it go" to highlight the irony
that irony is lost on mass produced songs these days.

And that any douchebag with the right connections

to the music industry can pass off stuff as music
and call themselves an artist.
