Engineering materials are materials that people use on making generally everything. The prime function
of these materials is to withstand the loads applied without breaking. Every classification of these
materials has unique important characteristics so you know whenever you use them. Metals are the
most widely used it is because of its very sturdy composition. Polymers are also widely used because it
is easy to use and it is light weight and corrosion hardly has an effect on it. Ceramics have a very good
corrosion and wear resistance. It also has high melting point and is very stiff. The only down side of the
ceramics is its very brittle. There is no material of all kind because each of this materials has a purpose in
each and every load and usefulness.
